met a bunch of meddie friends in the airport on the same flight to japan!! annoying kid was behind us lol. touchdown in osaka and went straight to our hotel and checked in our stuff before heading out to dotonburi. had our little japanese rooms with tatami and all! grabbed an onigiri before heading to the train station to get to dotonburi and to our proper dinner. went to walk the little alleys and stuff before finding a place to eat, onomoyaki yakisoba and teppei with super squishy takopachi hehe and then we had another ramen after that HAHA like we shared one bowl between 3 people. the ordering was super cool, like you buy from the vending machine and get a little ticket and then you get seated.
walked around along the canal and bought drinks n snackies before finding the famous glico man (still dont get it) HAHA.
now back in the hotel stretching and getting ready for tomorrow!!
Today's cherry blossoms were GORGEOUS. went to Osaka castle and climbed all the way up 8 floors to see the view and the history of the castle. there were so many sheebas everywhere omg I love them so much!!!
went to Kotonburi market for lunch and had amazing sashimi, it was legit one of the best sashimi i've had before; the salmon was fatty n delicious and the fatty tuna also was shiok af.
went to the aquarium after that and died at all the cuteness, and felt sad at the whale sharks n turtles n molas ):
we saw a grumpy capybara, otters, adorable seals OMFG and the pretty bling jellyfish
woke up and made our breakfast, mine was instant curry rice and we made eggs too to go with it! hehe. left for arashiyama and walked the bamboo forest. saw that adorable little girl around the lake area haha and there were more sheebs around today!!!
went to the soy milk restaurant and had lunch there, the beancurd was super soft and silky and the dessert mochi was so sweet omfg. i need to walk to offset all the food and we had ice cream after that even HAHAHA time for more intermittent fasting...aka no bfast lels.
headed to the ryonji zen garden and contemplated contentment. am i contented? who knows. it was a pretty place with a whole bunch of cherry blossoms n it was really quite pretty.

So you buy these deer crackers for 150 yen and that feeds like maybe 4 deer HAHA depending on how greedy. it was pretty crowded so we didnt get swarmed, but we did step in a lot of deer poop (it was unavoidable) and this guy was purposely luring the deer so it was almost on him hahahaha
we went to the main temple Todaiji and saw this pond with koi and ducks and so we fed them the bread we have left over HAHA giving them diabetus. The temple was really pretty and they had this gorgeous cherry blossom tree that we were throwing petals at HAHA and took rly gorgeous pics
so we hiked a bit more and then we found these sad deer that were so hungry, so we found more crackers and then fed them. There were some babies around and they were getting bullied by the bigger ones hahahaha.
walked down and saw this guy practicing the archery on a fake horse, and apparently they have to train when they're grade 3 to shoot off a REAL HORSE which is pretty badass
SAW CUTE DOGGOS EVERYEHERR
Walked back down towards town and found this rly nice place to eat Okonomiyaki and yakisoba
We went to the small streets to walk and then we saw this shop that sells amazake sake and i got this amazing hojicha pudding and it was so good omfg. dan had an ice cream, and the amazake tastes like the rice dessert we have in Singapore HAHAHA
So we found an owl cafe. YASSSSS 1000 yen for admission with 1 drink AND YOU CAN PET THE BIRDS i was so insanely excited omfg
they had chipmunks too and frogs and a bush baby!!
Mochi on the way down! and then we went to kyoto station for dinner; tried to find some rice cause we've been eating noodles for way too long already so we had beef don! no idea what cut we ordered but it was good. then came dessert; pancakes and matcha ice cream!!
